Matthew K. Manning, Author: Matthew K. Manning is a comic book writer, historian, and fan. He has written comics for DC Comics and Marvel, including Beware the Batman, Spider-Man Unlimited, and Marvel Romance Redux. When not writing comics themselves, he writes books about the comic book medium and its rich history.
Joel Gomez, Illustrator: Joel Gomez is a freelance comic book artist who has worked on Attica, Jason Coffee’s WarHawks, Flashpoint: Reverse Flash, Rift: Telara Chronicles, and Gears of War, among other titles. He lives in San Diego, California.
Beth Sotelo, Illustrator: Beth Sotelo got her start in 2001 as a colorist for Top Cow Productions (Magdalena Vol. 2, Witchblade/Wolverine). Since then she has colored comics for Marvel (New X-Men Vol. 1, Wolverine: Killing Made Simple Vol. 1), DC (Brightest Day Vol. 1, Supergirl Vol. 5), and Aspen Comics (Fathom Vol. 4, Soulfire Vol. 2). Freddie E. Williams II, Illustrator: Freddie E. Williams II burst onto the comic book scene in 2005, when he began work with DC Comics on the Eisner Award winning series Seven Soldiers: Mister Miracle. Since then, he has illustrated a long list of DC Comics titles, including: Robin, The Flash, Countdown, 52, Blue Beetle, Aquaman, JSA All-Stars, Captain Atom, Green Arrow, The Movement, and Infinite Crisis. While the bulk of his work has been with DC Comics, Freddie has illustrated Brain Boy and Conan for Dark Horse Comics, as well as the Legendary Star Lord for Marvel Comics. Freddie is also artist and author of The DC Comics Guide to Digitally Drawing Comics.
