Brad Bird, : Brad Bird began work on his first animated short at the age of 11. The film brought him to the attention of Walt Disney Studios, where, at age 14, he was mentored by Milt Kahl, one of Disney’s legendary “Nine Old Men.” Brad’s break as director came with the "Family Dog" episode of Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories, which he also wrote and co-produced. Brad co-wrote the screenplay for the live-action feature Batteries Not Included and served as executive consultant on both The Simpsons andKing of the Hill. He has since written and directed both animated and live-action features: The Iron Giant (1999), The Incredibles (2004), Ratatouille (2007), Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (2011), and Tomorrowland (2015). He is currently at work on Incredibles 2.
